# 12 Flickr

I have added a photo from Flickr to my blog.

I also added 3 photographs from The Grampians to my Flickr account.

Beach Sunrise by -yury-
Beach Sunrise, a photo by -yury- on Flickr.

This was a photo that I found on the Collective Commons. It is a picture of sunrise at Warriewood Beach, Sydney.

# 11 LibraryThing

I thought this was very similar to Shelfari. I prefer Shelfari because it is easier to use and I like the way you can customise your bookself.

Nevertheless, I set up a LibraryThing account (after many false starts with devising an orginal name!) and added 6 books to my collection. I found that some books were found with their ISBN and others with their title. It was easy to see how many other members had included this title and to find reviews about these books.

# 10 Online Image Generators

I had quite a bit of trouble with this exercise but I am happy with my final result. This could have great application in my workplace and could enhance presentations to colleagues and students.

I would be interested to see how it differs from the MAC program Comic Life. Under that program, you can design comic strips.

I think students would have a lot of fun with it and it could be used as a alternative strategy of summarising some key points or for writing a synopsis of a character, etc.
